Dimensional Watercolor Maddie and Sister Cookie Art class is an advance mini version of Course at 5ᵗʰ Avenue’s Cookie Art Academy
First Bobbie will walk throughly through using the correct consistencies of royal icing whilst controling your pressure on the piping bag in order to develop the form of the mouse.
Moving forward, once the royal icing has dried Bobbie will show you how mix your food paste into pseudo watercolors/acrylic paints.
Now ot is time to paint furry texture of her coat with your brush – whilst also managing to give the mouse solid form by making sure the tonal values across her whole body are correct.
Bonus: Most cookie decorators believe folds of fabric are free form, howver they are not. There are five elements are five basic types of folds when piping, sculpting painting and drawing fabric. Within each of the five folds, there are five elements of shading must be present to make them look realistic. Bobbie introduces you to them.
It’s a bit of a balancing act, but it’s going to be loadss of fun! ~ Bobbie
