When my daughter was little, she loved advent calendars, especially ones with hidden treats. I began to noticed it was the anticipation that she loved – the countdown as we, the family, neared the big day and the little surprise behind each numbered box. The following year we began creating our own one-of-kind- Cookie Advent Calendar In true advent calendar tradition, the cookies are a surprise—but I slipped some Chocolate Covered Expresso Beans, Piroulins, Mini Gingerbread Cookies, and Homemade Toffee, any holiday cookie connoisseurs will be ever-so-Delighted! Now that she has grown both of us create an inspired Cookie Advent Art to give to each other!
I must admit I normally don’t share my family holiday tradition with the world, however this year is not any ordinary year..Is it? Holiday traditions are priceless, but cost very little.
