I had always dreamed of being an artistic as career like grandma was, but I had never taken an art class, nor did I know what type medium I wanted to work with; I ended up doing what so many of us do; I put my dream aside.
My dream kept nagging me, coincidentally a friend gave me Eddie Spence’s MBE book The Art of Royal Icing, and I knew I had found my calling..Cookie Artist!
Now I needed to teach myself how create stunning dimensional had painted cookies!
I’ll let you in on a little secret: it was a roller coaster of journey, until I finally realized I was learning more with my failures than with my success, being perfectionist that wasn’t easy. So I let go of fear of failure, bravery ventured on!
