July 4th is quickly approaching, two short weeks away! I was inspired to create a pinwheel fashion cake decorated with red, white and blue.
I truly wanted to design a cake that was different from all the Independence cakes I had seen in the past. I love fashion so I began there.
I placed ruffle dresses around a square cake in blue and red fondant. Once the dresses were completed pinwheels seemed to jump into my head, and from that point on the rest of the cake
came to life.
In honor of Independence Day (4th of July) I wanted share the steps to bring this fashionable 4th of July cake with you!
