Grouchy is back, although he is anticipating the start of spring, the rain makes him Grouchy!
This course is a beginner course for everyone regardless of experience in cookie art or painting! You will learn Bobbie’s Method of Cartoon Cookie Art! This course is awesome for learning color mixing for realistic hues and tones, brush techniques, paint consistencies, practicing brush control, mastering the of important the fine details and tonal value!
Before we start to paint we need to mix our food paste in order to develop “pseudo” the watercolor/acrylic hues and tones. Since Grouchy is in grey tonal range we to keep our hues subtle as we layer his mid-tones.Then next challenge will be his yellow hat and raincoat; working with yellow, can be trickier than you might think, because it has a really small tonal range and to darken it we have to add other paste – which will also affect the color, therefor we have to be handled carefully.
