David Austin Roses are the perfect inspiration for stunning dimensional cookie art and this cookie art was inspired by photograph I took several years ago! The finished cookie art has an air of vintage romance!
Red roses often have a rich velvety color and texture to them which can prove intimidating to decorate. We need achieve the subtle dimensional velvety texture with royal icing as well as painting with proper brush technique. Using Bobbie’s Method of Cookie Decorating in order to capture and ensure that the tonal balance within the rose as a whole is correct so that we can achieve a realistic 3D appearance!. This course is challenging but if you stick with it I’m sure you’re going to love the results you are able  achieve!
